Beginner and intermediate tango classes with David at La Bruja

In January, David-Orly Thompson teaches both beginning tango and intermediate tango classes at La Bruja!  Wednesdays, January 3rd, 17th, and 24th.  Please choose either the beginner or intermediate class–email us if you have questions.  This class is taught as “leaders” and “followers” and is inclusive to folks of all genders, non-binary & LGBTQ+.

7:00-8:00 pm beginner class
8:00-9:00 pm intermediate class
9:00-10:00 pm practica

$20 beginner class (cash only)
$20 intermediate class (cash only)

The practica is included with the class.  Beginners who would like to stay for the practica can take a break in the lobby or sit quietly and watch the intermediate class.

We are in the ballroom (upstairs, with wooden floor) on all dates except January 10th. Class is CANCELLED on January 10th.

We are a 10-minute walk from Downtown Berkeley BART. For bike parking, use the bell to enter through the service entrance, and go straight to get to the back courtyard. No parking in the City Club lot. Extra parking is available for $2 per hour at the Ellsworth Structure at 2337 Haste St.

There are no classes on Wednesday, January 31st, because we will be holding a milonga with live music!  Come on out!
