Join us for tango classes with Diego Lanau and Alejandra Saravia in Berkeley!
Wednesdays, April 29th, May 6th & 13th
6:45 pm: check-in
7:00-8:00 pm: beginning tango
8:00-8:30 pm: practica
8:30-9:30 pm: intermediate tango
9:30-10:00 pm: practica
The beginner class is open to all levels. The intermediate class is geared towards people who have been dancing for at least three months (12 tango classes).
These classes are taught using the terms “leaders” and “followers,” and are inclusive to queer, trans, and non-binary people. No partner necessary; the teachers encourage people to switch partners throughout the class.
The practicas are included with the classes. Stay, dance, and ask questions! Beginners may stay and watch the intermediate class. Intermediates may arrive at 8:00 to practice together with the beginners.
$25 general admission (single class, beg. or int.)
$15 student with ID (single class, beg. or int.)
$40 both classes in one evening (for one person)
We accept cash and venmo at the door.

Drinks are for sale at Morgan’s Bar and Lounge, across the hall from the ballroom. All ages are welcome in the dance classes. This is one of the most beautiful tango venues in the San Francisco Bay Area!
