Join us for tango classes with Luz Castineiras in February! Luz is a highly experienced tango teacher who teaches fun, active classes. In the beginner class, she introduces the fundamentals of social tango. In the intermediate class, she focuses on dancing to vals!
Wednesdays, February 4th, 11th, 18th, and 25th

7:00-8:00 pm: beginning tango series
8:00-8:30 pm: practica
8:30-9:30 pm: vals series (intermediate level)
9:30-10:00 pm: practica

The beginner class is open to all levels. The intermediate class is geared towards people who have been dancing for at least three months (12 tango classes).
These classes are taught using the terms “leaders” and “followers,” and are inclusive to queer, trans, and non-binary people.
No partner necessary; the teacher encourages people to switch partners throughout the class.
We encourage everyone to sign up for all four classes, but drop-ins are also welcome.
The practicas are included with the classes. Stay, dance, and ask questions! Beginners may stay and watch the intermediate class. Intermediates may arrive at 8:00 to practice together with the beginners.
$80 general admission (four classes in February, beg. or int.)

Drinks are for sale at Morgan’s Bar and Lounge, across the hall from the ballroom. All ages are welcome in the dance classes.
