We are excited to welcome Luz Castinieras to teach both beginning tango and milonga at La Bruja! The beginner class is geared toward absolute beginners and also anyone who would like to work on their fundamentals. No partner or experience necessary.
.
For the intermediate class, we focus on milonga. Luz is a master of milonga, both as a leader and a follower. In the milonga class, she explains the differences between body movement in tango and milonga, which apply even to the most basic steps. She also shows us some of the super-fun milonga figures in her repertoire.
.
.These classes are taught as “leaders” and “followers” and are inclusive to queer, trans, and non-binary people. Role-switching is welcome.
.
These are drop-in classes, but it helps to come every week.
