San Francisco / Bay Area Argentine Tango Calendar
Stephanie Fesneau and Fausto Carpino have captivated the tango world since joining forces in 2011. Hailing from France and Italy, respectively, they each bring a rich background in dance to their partnership.
Fausto, originally from Sicily, began his dance journey at the age of six and quickly rose through the ranks of ballroom competitions before discovering his passion for Argentine tango, eventually co-founding the first tango school in Syracuse. Stephanie, who grew up immersed in dance and theater in Paris, found her love for tango at sixteen and rapidly became a sought-after instructor across Europe, teaching in Warsaw, Paris, and Florence.
Together, they have taught in over 31 countries and 115 cities, sharing their philosophy that tango is about connection, musicality, and natural movement within the embrace. Renowned for their dynamic teaching style, they focus on creating a comfortable, intuitive dance experience that is as much about feeling as it is about technique. Whether on the dance floor or behind the DJ booth, Fausto and Stephanie continue to inspire tango enthusiasts worldwide with their dedication and passion.
