Felipe & Ayano @ La Bruja: Tango 101 & intermediate series (Berkeley)

Felipe Martinez and Ayano Yoneda present a 4- week beginner series (Tango 101) and a 4-week intermediate series! These are progressive classes, and we encourage everyone to sign up for the entire series if possible. Drop-ins are allowed at $25 per class.
UPDATE: Tango 101 has already started. If you are new to tango, we recommend that you wait and join us on Wednesday, Oct. 23rd or 30th, or Wednesday, Nov. 6th or 13th.
These classes are taught as “leaders” and “followers” and are inclusive to queer, trans, and non-binary people. Role-switching is welcome.
Everyone is encouraged to switch partners during the classes, but you may also decide to stick with the same partner.

We encourage everyone to stay, dance, and ask questions during the practica. Drinks are available across the hall at Morgan’s Bar and Lounge. All ages are welcome in the dance classes.
On Wednesday, October 9th, we will be in the drawing room, which has a tile floor. The other three dates are in the ballroom.
This is a member event of the Berkeley City Club, hosted by Lindsey Newbold. We host tango classes almost every Wednesday.

We are a 10-minute walk from Downtown Berkeley BART. For bike parking, use the bell to enter through the service entrance, and go straight to get to the back courtyard. No parking in the Berkeley City Club lot. Extra parking is available for $2 per hour at the Ellsworth Structure at 2337 Haste St.
