DESCRIPTION:While certainly not required\, learning to lead AND follow is considered a benchmark for serious\, excellent tango dancers. Understanding the dance from every perspective gives us advantages\, skills\, and a better understanding fundamental principles of movement that push our dancing to next level. Needless to say\, learning both roles is challenging and stimulating\, while at times daunting. Christopher’s skill and decades-long experience as a teacher and social dancer offer a safe\, fun\, and controlled environment to explore and create new options for your dance\, and new pathways for accessing your musicality and learning to listen to your partner. You will be joining an already-established serious\, dedicated\, and very welcoming core group of dancers\, and anyone with the a solid background in one or the other roles who is willing and ready to work hard and accept a good challenged is welcome to join us. \nFeel free to call\, text\, or email with any questions regarding classes and whether they might be a good fit for you. \n$20/class\, or $180/10 classes (one year time limit)
