This is a series of four classes held at the Berkeley City Club\, Wednesdays in August 2025.  We are so happy to welcome Diego and Alejandra back to the Bay! No partner necessary.  The beginner class is open to all levels.  For the intermediate class\, we recommend three months of tango experience (12 tango classes).\n\nThese classes are taught using the terms “leaders” and “followers\,” and are inclusive to queer\, trans\, and non-binary people.\n6:45-7:00 pm: check-in7:00-8:00 pm beginning tango8:00-8:30 pm practica8:30-9:30 pm intermediate tango9:30-10:00 pm practica\n\nThe practicas are included with the classes. This is a series of four classes held at the Berkeley City Club\, Wednesdays in August 2025.  We are so happy to welcome Diego and Alejandra back to the Bay! No partner necessary.  The beginner class is open to all levels.  For the intermediate class\, we recommend three months of tango experience (12 tango classes).\n\nThese classes are taught using the terms “leaders” and “followers\,” and are inclusive to queer\, trans\, and non-binary people.\n6:45-7:00 pm: check-in7:00-8:00 pm beginning tango8:00-8:30 pm practica8:30-9:30 pm intermediate tango9:30-10:00 pm practica\n\nThe practicas are included with the classes. Stay\, dance\, and ask questions!\n\nWe encourage everyone to sign up for all four classes. Especially if you are new to tango\, try to start on August 6th!\n\n$80 general admission (four classes\, beg. or int)$25 general admission (single class\, beg. or int)$15 student with ID (single class\, beg. or int)We accept cash and venmo at the door.\n\nThis event takes place in the drawing room (first floor) on August 6th\, and in the ballroom (second floor) on August 13th\, 20th\, and 27th.\n\nWe are a 10-minute walk from Downtown Berkeley BART. For bike parking\, use the bell to enter through the service entrance\, and go straight to get to the back courtyard. No parking in the City Club lot. Extra parking is available for $2 per hour at the Ellsworth Structure at 2337 Haste St.\n\nEvent organized by Lindsey Newbold.
