DESCRIPTION:Christy Cote teaches tango\, Wednesdays in Berkeley!  This is a series of four dates.  We encourage everyone to sign up for all four classes\, but drop-ins are also welcome.  Christy is a professional tango teacher who has been a central figure in Bay Area tango for many years.  Join us for a fun\, challenging class! \nThe beginner class is open to all levels.  The intermediate class is geared towards people who have been dancing for at least three months (12 tango classes). \nThese classes are taught using the terms “leaders” and “followers\,” and are inclusive to queer\, trans\, and non-binary people. \nWednesdays\, September 3rd\, 10th\, 17th\, Oct 1st\n6:45 pm: check-in\n7:00-8:00 pm beginning tango series\n8:00-8:30 pm practica\n8:30-9:30 pm intermediate tango series\n9:30-10:00 pm practica. \nThe practicas are included with the classes. Stay\, dance\, and ask questions! Beginners may stay and watch the intermediate class. Intermediate students are welcome to arrive at 8:00 to practice together with the beginners. \n$80 general admission (four classes\, beg. or int.)\n$25 general admission (single class\, beg. or int.)\n$15 student with ID (single class\, beg. or int.)\nWe accept cash and venmo at the door \nIf you decide to attend both the beginner and intermediate class\, please pay for both classes ($40). \nBerkeley City Club\n2315 Durant Ave.\nBerkeley\, CA 94704 \nDrinks are for sale at Morgan’s Bar and Lounge\, across the hall from the ballroom. All ages are welcome in the dance classes. \nWe are a 10-minute walk from Downtown Berkeley BART. For bike parking\, use the bell to enter through the service entrance\, and go straight to get to the back courtyard. No parking in the City Club lot. Street parking is free after 6:00 pm. DESCRIPTION:Christy Cote teaches tango\, Wednesdays in Berkeley!  This is a series of four dates.  We encourage everyone to sign up for all four classes\, but drop-ins are also welcome.  Christy is a professional tango teacher who has been a central figure in Bay Area tango for many years.  Join us for a fun\, challenging class! \nThe beginner class is open to all levels.  The intermediate class is geared towards people who have been dancing for at least three months (12 tango classes). \nThese classes are taught using the terms “leaders” and “followers\,” and are inclusive to queer\, trans\, and non-binary people. \nWednesdays\, September 3rd\, 10th\, 17th\, Oct 1st\n6:45 pm: check-in\n7:00-8:00 pm beginning tango series\n8:00-8:30 pm practica\n8:30-9:30 pm intermediate tango series\n9:30-10:00 pm practica. \nThe practicas are included with the classes. Stay\, dance\, and ask questions! Beginners may stay and watch the intermediate class.
