DESCRIPTION:Have you danced tango to live music at the Flower piano festival at SF Botanical Garden while having a picnic? This would be another happy gathering over live music and dancing. We have the best spot\, “GREAT MEADOW”\, in the middle of the botanical garden for you to dance\, picnic\, run around\, or chill with your friends and family while listening to the live tango music. I will be performing with my new amazing colleague\, Basma Edrees\, and the local favorite Teresa Tam. I might have more guest artists joining. After the show\, we will hang out and have a picnic listening to other beautiful concerts in the park. There are 12 pianos throughout the park and many concerts will be offered all day. Hope to have you build another beautiful memory together. Hugo and Crystie play classic tangos for dancing.\n\n$20 general admission (cash only)\n$15 student with ID (cash only)\n$10 member of the City Club (cash only)\n\n7:00 milonga begins with DJ\n7:45 first live set\n8:45 dance performance of Malambo Sureño\n8:50 second live set\n\nDJ Robert plays traditional tango music. Anahí from Buenos Aires performs Malambo Sureño on stage. (This Argentine folk dance was formerly for men only–not any more!)\n\nThis is a queer-friendly event where all genders are welcome to lead and follow.\n\nMasks are required when not actively eating or drinking.\n\nDrinks (full bar) and empanadas are offered for sale (cards accepted). All ages welcome.\n\nThis event takes place in the ballroom on the second floor. The floor is slippery!  To enter\, ring the bell and say “tango!” We are a 10-minute walk from Downtown Berkeley BART.
