DESCRIPTION:This all-levels beginner-friendly class will focus on technique and connection. We will study a theme each week such as walking\, rhythmic variations\, pivots\, etc. and we will explore the technical aspects for both roles as well as how to use this element to express the music and deepen connection with our partner. \nThis is a queer-friendly event where all genders are welcome to lead or follow. No partner necessary. \n7:00-8:00 pm class\n8:00-10:00 pm guided practica \n$20 class and practica (general)\n$15 class and practica (student with ID)\n$10 practica only (no class) \nMasks are required when you are not actively eating or drinking. \nThis class takes place in the Berkeley City Club ballroom (2nd floor). The floor is slippery.  To enter the building\, ring the bell and say “tango.” \nYou can dine before class at Julia’s Restaurant in the Berkeley City Club\, or purchase a drink at Morgan’s Bar and Lounge (until 9:00 pm). \nWe are a 10-minute walk from Downtown Berkeley BART. No partner necessary. \n7:00-8:00 pm class\n8:00-10:00 pm guided practica \n$20 class and practica (general)\n$15 class and practica (student with ID)\n$10 practica only (no class) \nMasks are required when you are not actively eating or drinking. \nThis class takes place in the Berkeley City Club ballroom (2nd floor).
