DESCRIPTION:Tango teacher Luz Castineiras is back in February! In the beginner series\, we focus on foundational moves for social dancing. In the intermediate series\, we focus on vals.  Luz will cover some topics that are different from the January series. \nWednesdays\, February 5th\, 12th\, 19th\, and 26th\n6:45-7:00 pm check-in\n7:00-8:00 pm beginner series\n8:00-8:30 pm practica\n8:30-9:30 pm intermediate (vals) series\n9:30-10:00 pm practica \nThe beginner series is geared towards total beginners and people who have been dancing tango for less than six months. \nThis dance class is taught using the terms “leaders” and “followers” and is inclusive to queer\, trans\, and non-binary people. \nThe practicas are included with the classes.  Intermediate students are welcome to arrive at 8:00 pm. \nOn Wednesday\, February 26th\, tango teacher Christopher Nassopoulos will be teaching the class. \n$80 general admission (four classes in February\, beginner or intermediate)\n$25 drop-in rate (single class\, beginner or intermediate)\n$15 drop-in rate for student with ID\nPlease use cash or venmo. \nYou can register for the series on eventbrite for $87.21 (fees included)\nhttps://www.eventbrite.com/e/1205788147809\nYou can register without fees by emailing info AT labrujatangoberkeley DOT com. \nDrinks are for sale at Morgan’s Bar and Lounge\, across the hall from the ballroom.  All ages are welcome in the dance classes.
