DESCRIPTION:Join us for Tango 101 or Intermediate Tango with Felipe Martinez and Ayano Yoneda!  Both class levels meet on six Wednesdays starting Wednesday\, May 21st.  Felipe and Ayano teach a fun\, challenging class that emphasizes tango structure and technique for social dancing. \nUPDATE:  This series has already started.  If you are new to tango\, we recommend that you wait and start at the beginning of our next four-week series on Wednesday\, July 9th.  (This series is also taught by Felipe and Ayano!) \nThese classes are taught using the terms “leaders” and “followers\,” and are inclusive to queer\, trans\, and non-binary people. \nWednesdays\, May 21\, 28; Jun 11\, 18\, 25; Jul 2\n6:45 pm: check-in\n7:00-8:00 pm beginning tango series\n8:00-8:30 pm practica\n8:30-9:30 pm intermediate tango series\n9:30-10:00 pm practica \nThe practicas are included with the classes. Stay\, dance\, and ask questions! Beginners may stay and watch the intermediate class. Intermediate students are welcome to arrive at 8:00 to practice together with the beginners. \n$120 general admission (six classes)\n$25 general admission (single class)\n$15 student with ID (single class) \nWe accept cash and venmo at the door. \nBerkeley City Club\n2315 Durant Ave.\nBerkeley\, CA 94704 \nDrinks are for sale at Morgan’s Bar and Lounge\, across the hall from the ballroom. All ages are welcome in the dance classes. \nWe are a 10-minute walk from Downtown Berkeley BART. For bike parking\, use the bell to enter through the service entrance\, and go straight to get to the back courtyard. No parking in the City Club lot. Street parking is free after 6:00 pm. Extra parking is available for $2 per hour at the Ellsworth Structure at 2337 Haste St. There is also parking at First Church\, right across Durant from the Berkeley City Club\, for a $10 flat fee (pay with qr code). \nEvent organized by Lindsey Newbold. La Bruja Tango holds tango classes (almost) every Wednesday.

SUMMARY:Tango dance classes with Felipe & Ayano\, Berkeley (beginning & int.)
DESCRIPTION:Join us for beginning tango or intermediate tango with Felipe Martinez and Ayano Yoneda! This is a series of three dates on Wednesdays at the Berkeley City Club.\n\nThese classes are taught using the terms “leaders” and “followers\,” and are inclusive to queer\, trans\, and non-binary people.\nIf you have just taken Tango 101 for the first time\, we recommend that you take the beginner level. The class will include some review and some new material.\n\nWednesdays: July 16th\, 25th\, and 30th.\n6:45-7:00 pm: check-in7:00-8:00 pm beginning tango8:00-8:30 pm practica8:30-9:30 pm intermediate tango9:30-10:30 pm practica\nThe practicas are included with the classes. Stay\, dance\, and ask questions!\n\nWe encourage everyone to sign up for all three classes. For bike parking\, use the bell to enter through the service entrance\, and go straight to get to the back courtyard. No parking in the City Club lot. Extra parking is available for $2 per hour at the Ellsworth Structure at 2337 Haste St.\n\nEvent organized by Lindsey Newbold. La Bruja holds tango classes at the Berkeley City Club almost every Wednesday.
