One of the answers to that question is in this lesson. Here we’ll teach you how to smooth out the edges on your everyday tango elements and make them soft and round.\n(8:45-10:00pm) WS2: COUPLES’ TECHNIQUE: ROLLING CLOSE EMBRACE\nRolling is an essential technique for pivoting comfortably in close embrace. In this lesson\, we’ll teach you how to apply this technique in standard tango figures that require a pivot.\n\nSaturday 10/28\n(2:15-3:30pm) WS3: FAVOURITE COMBINATIONS WITH GIRO\nThere are plenty of elements that can be added to giro resulting in fun and surprising combinations. From sacadas to boleos to changes of direction\, let’s mix it all!\n(3:45-5:00pm) WS4: THE “STRANGE” SACADA\nThis sacada is the missing piece of the puzzle! Here we’ll show you one of the more unusual sacadas and we’ll explain why it’s different than the others. We’ll demonstrate how to use it in a circular or a linear fashion.\n\nSunday 10/29\n(2:15-3:30pm) WS5: MILONGUERO VARIATIONS\nIn this lesson we’ll teach you 2 fun step combinations in close embrace\, perfect for interpreting the more rhythmic and/or energetic part of the song (e.g. a variation). Both combinations can be easily adapted to any amount of space which makes them great for (crowded) milongas.\n(3:45-5:00pm) WS6: VALSING IN SMALL SPACE\nApplying the technique of traspié\, we’ll show you a few fun and useful combinations in vals. The crowded milongas are the place to show them off.\n\nWS location: La Pista Studio\n3450 3rd Street\, Building 5\, Unit H\,\nSan Francisco\, CA\n\nCost: $225 per person\, $450 per couple for ALL FRI-SUN workshops (LIMITED to 25 couples max per workshop)\n$85 per person\, $170 per couple for individual days\n\n\n\nTo register\, please fill out the form link here.
